IM Ketamine therapy involves administering ketamine via intramuscular injection in a safe, controlled medical environment. It is used to relieve symptoms of treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, bipolar depression, and severe anxiety by promoting neuroplasticity and rebalancing mood circuits in the brain.
Ketamine targets the glutamate system by acting as an NMDA receptor antagonist. This stimulates the formation of new neural connections and helps restore emotional regulation pathways that have been impaired by chronic mental illness.
1. Adults with treatment-resistant depression. 2. Individuals with PTSD or trauma-related conditions. 3. Patients with bipolar depression (outside of manic episodes) 4. Individuals experiencing severe anxiety unresponsive to traditional treatments
Each session starts with a brief medical review and monitoring check. Ketamine is administered via intramuscular injection. You’ll rest in a private, calm room for approximately 60–90 minutes. Sessions are closely supervised by trained staff to ensure safety and comfort. You must arrange a ride home, as driving is not permitted afterward.
Some patients report improvements within hours, while others begin noticing changes after several sessions. Relief typically builds progressively, especially when paired with therapy and a structured treatment plan.
Induction phase: 6 sessions, administered as 2 treatments per week over 3 weeks
